Sponsor give away Posted by Billy D. Fuller on Jun 30, 2010
I'm in the process of working on my new website. One of the new things I'll be doing is Sponsor give aways. Sponsors will donate puppet related items to SS Puppets in exchange for featured advertisement on the front page. For details see the sponsor block at the website http://www.sspuppets.com
Julie from http://www.outoftheboxpuppets.com is our proud sponsor for this month. For drawing details please visit the website and sign up on our front page. Don't forget for all your black light puppetry needs visit out of the box puppets. The drawing will be held August 11th 2010. I will announce the Winner at that time.

Hey, I just happened on your site today Billy, due to a Google alert. It looks pretty good (might want to check for typos though: saw quite a few misspelled website names on your links page), and it's a definite improvement on your old one!
I think I'll enter your sponsor thing, but I may have to wait a bit before doing so. (I'm extremely sick at the moment and my head is quite fuzzy, so I want to look at it properly when I'm better)
I may have some similar news in a month or two, when I have a new website set up. I'm thinking of giving away free ad spots to P&S members... but more news on that later

Thanks Na........................ I'm still very new to this building website thing.................... while everything is still in a rough draft stage, I thought I would start the sponsor give away. as for all the errors I need to get someone to check for all that so I can make the corrections........ of course I guess I could use spell check. LOL......................... Thanks for letting me know...after a while all the words seem to run together.

Puppets and Stuff members are a excellent way to test things out. I think free add spots to P&S members are great. I forgot I hope you get to feeling better Na.

I'm guessing you're using Freewebs? (Or now called 'webs.com'?) If so, that's what I used for my first sites. Even though it has its limitations, it's a good way of getting yourself online without a lot of knowledge of how to do it. (And far better than what's provided by Yahoo or what Geocities used to offer)
As for spell checking, I'm the same. I'll write something and then reread it later and realise that I've got some sort of typo in every second sentence.

Thanks. I'm seeing the doctor tomorrow (third time in one month!) and hopefully have some test results back. Fingers crossed they can find out what's wrong with me, as I've been coughing almost non-stop for a month

I have two sites and am working on both at the same time plus reorganizing my business while taking care of my Mom. I do have a free webs account
http://www.freewebs.com/sspuppets
and I have another account hosted by Shawn here at Puppets and stuff
http://www.sspuppets.com
They both will have to be fine tuned.................... Just not enough hours in a day. I hope the doctor gets you back up and going. Remember no shadow puppetry with the xray machine.

Ah, see that's where I got confused. I thought I was on the 'newly designed' Freewebs site, not the actual newly designed P&S-hosted site.
Well, I'm taking a holiday this week (fingers crossed, I'll actually be well enough to go, although either way I'm not working but relaxing) so hopefully I can recuperate a bit. We'll see: I've never had to have a chest x-ray before, it's quite nerve-wracking and I'm hoping it turns out I just have asthma as suggested by my doc.
