Re: done with a puppet Posted by nall29 on Jul 11, 2010
i used this fabric that i found in the fleece bins at walmart...i just assumed that it was a slightly higher quality fleece. it seems to be more sparkley than all the other fleece and the nap seems to be better quality. it looks almost the same on both sides but not quite on the reverse. when i go shopping next week ill look on the roll to see what the name of the fabric is. the best part its only 4.95 a yard i just wish it came in more colors...

Wsh Walmart around here still sold fabric. All the walmarts in a 70 mile radius have phased out all of their sewing stuff. bummer.

hey i checked out your website pockets full of fun! it looks like you are doing a really good thing with your program! do you make your own puppets?
Re: done with a puppet Posted by nall29 on Jul 12, 2010
that sucks! i couldent live without the craft of fabric section of my walmart.. the only other place to buy fabric here is Ben Franklin crafts and they want an arm and a leg for their fabric.

I'm a bit late to this, and see you've already sold the puppet, but still wanted to add: she looks fab!

Personally, I think the hairline is a little too far back on her head (making her look a little old, or bald), but other than that, great job
