Hello everyone! Posted by Gala on Jul 10, 2010
Absolutely happy to be here! Great topic, great people!
I had a little corner in Windsor Art Counsil exhibition last year.
All puppets were made out of papier-mâché and wood.

Please see the gallery.

Nice to meet you! I am getting familiar with the forum. I wish I found this place sooner.

Welcome Gala to Puppets and Stuff.  They look like table top puppets. Am I right?   Both Dulce and Clara are wonderful.  What is the picture in the background of Dulce?  Is that your work?

Nice meeting you Shawn! They are table-top, one of my favourite styles - the closest connection between actor and a puppet. The picture on the background is one of the images I made for the exhibition.

I thought the image looked like your work.  Would love to see how you do the legs for the puppets.  I've seen execution of the legs before but it is always nice to see how folks do things.

It is really depends on the character. For Clara I just used two rings attached to the back of her ankles. Clara_legs
