Re: SOLD! Posted by nall29 on Jul 14, 2010
i used this fabric i found in the fleece bin at wal mart (4.95 a yard)  i just thought it was a higher quality fleece.. ill describe it to you. it feels kinda spongie when you pinch it  and it sparkles and it has a fair amout of "fuzz" it only came in that color though, i looked through the rest of the fleece and none of the other kind had the sparkley quality and the "fuzz" that this one had. im buying a yard a week cuz i doubt they will get more in. you know how wamart gets one shipment of something you really like than never again. lol!

do u think its antron? ive never seen it in person before. mabyee walmart got a fluk shipment in...
Re: SOLD! Posted by Na on Jul 14, 2010
(Not being in the US) I don't think you'll find antron at Walmart. This is a specialty (read: expensive) fabric, and given there was a recent shortage I highly doubt Walmart would have had it in stock. More than likely, it's just your average fleece which can be found in any fabrics store.

Maybe Velux?  I may be a bit off on the spelling of the name but I know you used to be able to get blankets made out of it. I was a bit sponge and had a shine to it.  The only thing is I don't remember it being that fuzzy really.

Ahh... Vellux with two l's.

Re: SOLD! Posted by nall29 on Jul 15, 2010
in my opnion its way way better than polar fleece if i had to choose to make a puppet out of velux or the polar id use the velux for its sparkle and spongie quality and that little bit of nap for when im picking my seams
