Everything is in stock and the store is open. If you would like to see other type kits in the store just let me know and we'll try and stock them as type goes by.

Oooh, I haven't seen the store on your newly designed site before!

I like it, but would make one suggestion: the links to the kits etc was so small, I didn't notice them at first, and didn't think you had any products listed. (Most people won't read the first para, as I didn't... and then went back and started reading)

So you missed the text links on the right column?  Hmm.... Do you think it would help if those where actually small thumbnail images of the products?
Re: Complete puppet kit Posted by Na on Aug 21, 2010
Yes, thumbnails would be good. People generally scan, not read, so some images will be attractive as well as making the links more obvious.

Billy, I think your kits are great.  I definitely recommend them.  It can be difficult to get all the materials you need to build a high quality puppet, and your kit seems to have it all.  I DO agree with Na in regard to your product links.  I would add bigger Text and Photos, perhaps with a heading that says OUR PRODUCTS or something.

You hear that Shawn........... My loyal webmaster sir................ They think thumbnails would be helpful. Maybe something like I have on the front page with Sponsor links. What do you think? or should I put direct link and thumbnails on the front page. All suggestions are appreciated.

Yep we need more power selling going on.   I think perhaps even on your main WebStore page we should have some images of the "products"  and see links to the product pages in-line.

I added the pictures with links but forgot how to re-size them

Well you scaled them down in the site editor which works for this ok.  The orginals are around 300X225 and you dynamically scaled them to 224X147.  I normally like to actually reduce the size of images in an editing program like photo shop or something but in this case I think it is fine. They are not that big of files.  Now if you had a page with say a dozen or more images that you had done this I would be hollering at you to change them.
