I was just wondering, is this still happening for 2010? if so, did i miss it?! or has it not started yet. i know i should be able to figure this out but... sadly no
also, has anyone in the forum ever entered? made top ten? won?! im just so curious
any info would be great! thanks!

In 2006 was the first annual Project Puppet contest and it's theme was "Sock search".
It was followed with the second annual contest in 2007 themed "Once Upon A Puppet"
I believe the Third annual 2008 contest was based on the theme "A Space Odyssey"
The fourth 2009 theme was "The Jungle".........Here are the contest Winners and entries

I have not heard anything about a contest from Project Puppet of yet for 2010
Daryl of Puppets Live has had two contest maybe three and may be thinking about it again.

I have, I did and I was also a judge on occasion. I haven't heard any plans for this year, but it still could happen. They are great contests.

I was told that there would be a contest in August and is was planned to be better than ever.

If they would make it for October I would build somehting to enter. I would enter something that I have now in August.

Hey everybody! Just ran across this thread.
Project Puppet is planning a puppet contest this year...in fact...www.puppetcontest.com! We just launched the site today. We should be officially announcing it through Project Puppet and the email newsletter the first of next week.
We've changed things up this time around. No judges! The winners will be chosen by two rounds of voting. The first to narrow the playing field down to the top ten, and the second to determine the grand prize winner and runner-up. ALSO, there's a special contest just for kids! We hope that gets the attention of some young builders out there and keeps them inspired to keep building.
September 17th is the deadline...it's never too early to start planning your character!

This is awesome.
I did like the professional judges because they would give feedback to each puppet maker on how they could improve on there work of art.....however it is also nice to get a chance to vote and be part of the process......either way I love seeing the entries....I just hope we get antron fleece in. I am still looking for it.
