Yeah, Daryl...I agree. I like the panel of professional judges too, but change is nice. The other started to feel like too much of a routine, so mixing it up a bit adds some excitement.
And puppetfreak, we debated about the age limit for a long time. In the end, we came to the conclusion that it wouldn't be fair to have a 17 year old up against an 11 year old in a competition setting. Still there could be quite an age gap as it is, but having it 15 and under reduces it a bit. One thing that levels the playing field is that the entries will not be judged on technical skill alone, but on the character as a whole.
