I too have an iPhone and think it would be nice to have an app on my screen to take me to a mobile version so I can check on things from anywhere the site works on my iPhone, but it's not really suited for such a small screen, where an app for a mobile version would be

I was thinking I still never got a response from that guy I'll contact someone else.we could have some kind of fund raiser of some sort to raise money to hire someone to make one? It wouldnt have to be a big fund raiser just enough to raise $100-$200 and if there is extra money it could help finance p&s

Actually app people are very expensive to hire unless you are friends of someone who does it or they get residues off of what you sell, but it would then have to be something that will sell tonnes of them if they did it that way.  I have checked into it for some stuff I am working on.  I would love to get my puppets and stuff on my phone as well....so I hope something comes out sooner.  I maybe able to respond and check more regularly with the mobile since I am bored at times waiting for this or that.

Anyways....I put my hand way up for this but I also know that it is a lot of work to make one that works nicely without little glitches.

There is already an app. Its called Tapatalk. It supports a huge number of internet forums. All it requires is the forum admin to contact the guys that run the app and get it added.

Hey Ben, thanks for the heads up on this.  I had not heard of it before.  I'll explore more what it takes to integrate PandS with their app.

I use Tapatalk on an NY Offroading forum I run on vBulletin and it's a great addition. They support SMF as well. Mobile use of the site went up a good amount by making it available. They're iPhone and Android client app is great, but the Blackberry version is terrible and they're halted development on it. Overall I've been happy with adding it to the site since it's helped members on the go, out on the trails, etc.

I checked out the site but was hesitant because I could not really figure out what the angle was.   They say it is "free" but as we all know they have to be getting something out of it.  I guess I was concerned that I would end up haveing to pay some fees.  Maybe they are making their money on the other end when the sell the app it self to folks who want to use it.  Since you have used it can you confirm that I would not incur any fees?
