ok, this doesnt even make sense to me, but im going to try to explain it. I've been trying to figure out which will be better, to attach the neck to the outside of the body, or the inside. does that make sense? i hope so..

Inside the body is the best way to go and one the neck enters the body you can use cotton or spandex instead of Antron to go from the inside to the back of the puppet...does that make sence? Check out stiqpuppets vids on YouTube they are REALLY helpful

looking at pictures of the muppets i notice that they all seem to have something around their neck, kermits collar, piggy's necklace, etc.
do you think this is to hide the fact that the neck goes inside the body?

also billy in the second picture, are you saying you should make the neck out of fleece just for the part that will show on the puppet, and the part that is hidden out of cotton fabric?

I like to make the part that is visible from the bottom of the head into the top of the body with fleece then the rest of the body tube ...I use a thin fabric either cotton or poly blend.

I hand sew it to the base of the outer body covering...... trying to let the inside body liner not be visible.

ok thanks. you see, my idea is to recreate my character (the puppet in my avatar) which i made from the Expert Village tutorials. I want to recreate the head the same way (with some minor adjustments and some material replacements) and then use the round body that i found in your gallery.
