Back from the abyss Posted by Toon Asylum on Aug 03, 2010
Hello fellow puppeteers!!
Just thought I'd drop in with a few pics of my latest build. It's a little girl puppet. This is my first attempt using reticulated foam for the head.
I dyed it along with the antron fleece so I wouldn't have to cover the head with fabric.  I have yet to add the hair, eyes , arms. (the pics with the eyes are just pinned in place)
She's still a WIP but I'll be sure to follow up with finished photos.
Thanks for looking!

Very neat and clean work. I like the neck sleeve.

Nice work - can't wait to see it finished! (PS. That last photo is interesting. I can't get thick foam sheets here, and realise just how thin a foam I've been using in comparison. I had no idea you Americans make such thick necks/bodies! )

She's looking great, especially love the eyes and just the clean look the inside of the body has. Looking forward to seeing the end result!

Okay, I've been struggling with how my neck sleeve/lining looks.  I absolutely love the way you did this!  Thanks for sharing.  I'm going to try it soon.

Love the eyes too!
