Free Shipping Boxes... Posted by Gimpdiggity on Aug 07, 2010
Hi everyone. I did a quick search and didn't see this, but I'm sorry if I somehow searched incorrectly.
This is a GREAT way to get boxes to ship your puppets in. They are labeled as Priority Mail boxes, but that's nothing that can't be fixed by just taping some white paper over the Priority Logos and then you can use them as standard First Class or UPS boxes. Not to mention, I'm pretty sure if you just scratched off the Priority Mail logo with a permanent marker that the Post Office would let you use them for any type of mail you wanted.
You can get the boxes for FREE from the Post Office, AND they deliver them right to your door for you for no cost at all. The only catch would be you have to have an Ebay account, but other than that you can get pretty much as many as you would like for free. They have all different sizes, and some of them are those Flat Rate boxes so you can know your puppets shipping cost just so long as it fits in the box.
Here's the link with more information:

Hopefully this can help some people save some cash on buying boxes, or at the very least be more convenient for people so that they don't have to stop by the Post Office.

I get them all the time........................ Matter of fact when my store launches next week this will be the only shipping method I will offer priority flat rate postage is a simple and easy way to send packages. If you turn them inside out for regular mailing the USPS still gets the sales 98% of the time.

The flat boxes are joined by glue to make a box ............... I just unfasten where the box is glued turn in side out with the priority part facing the inside of the box and the brown facing out. I just use packaging tape to put the box back together by taping both inside and outside the seam I took apart. Now you can use it for regular mailing.

If you don't want boxes with the EBay logo on them you can get regular boxes
