Also, Matt has premixed dye packs. That's always nice.

The last bolt of antron I got in was gone with in a week. I expect the current one to go just as fast.

Basic skins tones are obtained by using Tan mixed with peach, orange or rose colored dyes. I have added a bit of yellow also. It is something you have to experiment with. Matt has come up with a nice variation of skin colors. A combination of one or more colors along with correct water temp. and perfect timing will yield you the skin tone you desire. I have a collection of recipes that I have used over the years.

I don't know if I'd be willing to pay such a price when I can dye it myself so much cheaper though. The colors are nice, but not worth the extra cash in my honest opinion.
You could also try cotton terry cloth (like bath towels) in white, and then dye that material too. I've seen some really nice puppets made with it.

Thank you guys for the suggestion, and yes April i agree with you about paying extra for something you can do yourself!

Billy another question about dyeing polar fleece. Would you suggest just dyeing it with something darker than you actually wanted, so it would end up closer?
