So i started my first foam head puppet and totally messed up. I used the Round Head pattern from Bashful Puppet Blog and the head came out mostly ok, besides being waaaaay too small. I realised that i would never be able to actually use this puppet, but wanted to still figure out how to measure for the mouth plate. I can't do it!! i dont know what im doing wrong, i've watched the video so many times, but everytime i try to measure for it it just totally doesn't work. Do you guys measure for your mouth plates, if so how do you do it? it seems that if i close the top and bottom of the mouth over the folded paper to trace it out it changes the shape. I don't know if that makes any sense, but just thought i would let you know of my messup :/
