This looks like so much fun!!!! What a great job Lisa!  I'm sure you have inspired many future puppeteers.  They're going to remember this for a long time.  Good job.

I had a love hate relationship with romper room.....loved the show but at the end she never called  my name  through the mirror....I used to wave my hands and say here I am.....I am still in therapy over it.

It looks like those kids had to much fun with their big smiles on their faces.  Thanks so much for posting those pictures.  Doing workshops with kids is very inspirational and you really learn a lot about yourself and how creative kids can be at taking risks without blinking an eye....unlike us adults that fret over silly things when we make puppets.

The performance went SO well! We probably had about 50 or so parents and grandparents watching (with their cameras and video cameras!) I was so proud of the kids!! A couple more pictures to make you suffer through!

When i have taught Puppets before my mentors always give me these pre-cut templates for the children to use! Although they are useful i think the children will benefit more by  creating their own designs!
