Success!!!! Posted by Gimpdiggity on Aug 14, 2010
Guys, I'm ecstatic right now.

As many of you probably know, I recently decided to start selling puppets.  I sold my first one on Ebay for $33 which included some legs made for it that weren't actually on it.  I didn't get quite as much as I was hoping to get for it, but it was a very first sale and as such I was happy just to know that someone out there wanted my puppet.

Well, that someone out there got the puppet and liked it so much, he contacted me to make him TWO more puppets!!!  The best part??  He felt that the value of the puppet that he won at auction wasn't nearly high enough so he wants to buy the other two from me for $65 each including the legs!!!!

He also wants me to make him 11 more arm rods for the other puppets that he has to use in his show.  Arm rods, quite literally, take me about 2 minutes to make and cost about 65 cents each.

I ended up working out a price of $155 for the two puppets and the 11 arm rods.

I'm really happy about selling two more puppets, but what I'm REALLY happy about is the fact that he liked his puppet so much that he offered to buy the other two for much closer to what I was hoping to sell them for!!!  Amazing!!!

I haven't been this happy with myself in a while...what a great feeling!!!!

Congrats! This is very good news, and goes to show that you were indeed pricing too low.

Repeat customers are very important, so this is excellent!

that is awesome! Congrats! I have not sold my first one yet. Then again I have not listed him because I like him to much. I guess that is going to be an issue for me

I thought I had posted here but not sure what happened to it ............ oh well I was going to tell you congratulations on your sale and I wish you the best on future listings. Now is a good time to establish a good feedback score with EBay by making sure your buyers leave positive feedback.

I've got a feedback score of 356 right now, 100% positive, and I'll have been a member of Ebay for 10 years this November.

No worries.

I really can't believe it's already been ten years that I've been using Ebay.  Seems like only yesterday I bought that snowboard...
