I'm making some very slow progress, hoping to finish up most of the sewing today, then tomorrow start adding features. aaah curse procrastination!!!

I should be able to finish mine some time tonight. The costume is maybe halfway finished and I've added the structure for the nose. I have a pair of eyes ready for it, but I won't know if they'll work until I have the rest of the face finished.
The big question is... where's my hot glue gun?

Well... The costume I was working on started to look worse as it came closer to being done than looking better. The theory was sound, but the execution of it failed. Now it looks like I'm going to have to make a new costume from scratch tonight and use regular fabric and foam to make it.

Oh, I know I can do it. I'm just not looking forward to having to start over. Which I have decided to do. Since I've thrown out most of my other ideas, I may as well throw out the removable costume part too and give the puppet head a different color face while I'm at it. So, I'm quite literally starting from scratch tonight. lol

good luck vampire wombat!!! i've made the mouthplate, foam head, foam body, and the arms, and am working on the posable hands with arm rods as we speak!!

Well, still not finished with mine. The base body, and head are finished. The gloves and arms are finished, but the hands themselves aren't yet. And none of the details for the costume are either. I'm not sure I'll be able to finish in time to take pictures with natural lighting today.

I'm a little depressed, cuz i've just realised that there is no way that i'm going to be able to finish my super-hero puppet by tomorow night, so i guess i won't be entering. I guess i should've started sooner, or maybe not given my self a deadline on my first ever foam and fleece puppet :'(

You should still finish it and post the picture here.  We want to see it!   I tell you what if you'll do that I'll give you a $20.00 gift certificate to Amazon.  Is that incentive enough?
