Is CGI puppetry a classification?  I guess it all depends on how it was done.  'Coraline' is considered CGI puppetry.

Pretty cool.  I bet this is CGI. 

I think you could classify CGI puppetry, if there is an actor behind the scenes and they are "manipulating" the character in real time.  Pretty gray area.  Normally the definition of puppetry is the manipulation of an inanimate object.
