One monster of a hobby Posted by themonstons.com on Sep 05, 2010
Hi there everyone,  while I've always loved puppets, its never come up where I thought I'd be making them for myself, but a hobby site I created in my off time as a video game animator has required I dip into the craft.  Thankfully, after seeing the level of talent here in the field of puppetry, Puppets and Stuff is providing me with a ton of great inspiration as I look to continue improving on puppet creation and performance. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to start coasting over this forum and getting to know more of my fellow puppeteers.

Thanks for the welcome and coming from someone who was Jim Henson in a biography and whos first puppet looks amazing, i'm definatly looking forward to seeing what everyone is up to.  Nice job on Karrat's arm rod btw, that took me quite a while to figure out about.

haha, thank you, Karrat was a pretty good first attempt, but i'm still no expert. I've learned a lot and hopefully my next puppet will be much better

Thanks for the welcome Shawn,  I've had a blast going through the site so far and the information here and breadth of resources in relation to puppetry is simply awe-inspiring.  I'm looking forward to continuing to dig into the site and meet all the terrific artists and performers here.  A really great site. Keep up the great work.
