I know that puppets made with the Simple Series pattern from Project Puppet don't really have foam chins, but have you guys ever added foam to the chin before using one of those patterns? are there patterns somewhere around here of chins to add? t

I did make a project puppet character once with a chin. I didn't modify the pattern too much for it to work. As for a pattern for a chin... Well, I always make chins for puppets depending on the character. I also make a thumb pouch on my puppets, so the two pretty much go together. The foam part of the chin can be simply made from a half circle with a rectangle of the height you're wanting the chin to be glued around the edge of the half circle.

Hopefully that makes some sense. If not, I'll take some pictures later.

The first image is a mouth plate with a thumb pouch with the two shapes I previously mentioned. The second image is the rectangle put around the half circle. The third image is all of the things put together to make a chin.

I just tested and with the Pinhead pattern at least, if the chin isn't too big, you can put it in without altering the skin pattern at all.
This is puppet I made before and I just shoved the same chin I made for the above pictures into it. I included before and after pictures.
