Found the site today and so far it's been incredibly resourceful.

I've done some puppetry in the past (mostly of the sock variety) and now I'm working on a rock opera.  Post apocalyptic.  Time to start diving in and making some critters!

What is the name of the rock opera you are doing?  The reason I ask is because I recently watched a futuristic rock opera on DVD... I think it was "Genco the Rock Opera" and was wondering if it might be the same.

Shawn - You're close. Geneco is the name of the company in the movie and does sound similar to the actual name, Repo! The Genetic Opera.

What is the name of the rock opera you are doing?

Working title is "The Dark Age."  It's a post-apocalyptic tale about a husband & wife walking the wasteland searching for a meaning to life and death.  Still in preproduction.  Just started building a puppet last night and it's been fun.

Sounds exciting! I hope you can lets us in on a bit of the building of the puppets.
