Puppets From The Unraku Workshop Posted by Andrew on Sep 13, 2010
Hi everyone,
I thought I'd share this small gallery of photos from the Unraku Workshop in Toronto - http://www.flickr.com/photos/unraku/sets/72157624827023753/
These are puppets built by the shop in 2008/09; it's been pouring out a lot more stuff this year, but much of it hasn't been photographed yet.

Great stuff Andrew! Is this the company that you are working with now?
There are two wardrobe heads that I work with on the Rockettes that are from Taronto. They often refer to a women that builds quite a bit of the Lion King stuff now that lives up there. In fact she also build some things now for the Rockettes. Any chance you have heard of her?

Thanks everybody!
Yes, Unraku is the company I work with most of the time now. Most of the company's puppet building is done collaboratively, so most of these puppets were worked on by multiple people. Unraku has a website at http://www.unraku.ca as well as a Facebook Page at http://www.facebook.com/unraku
And yes, the goat puppet does have a Papier-mâché head.
