One unusual thing was the pink in the powdered form did not glow. I didn't try it once it was mixed with water only in powdered form and once the fabric was dyed. The fluorescent yellow on the other hand glowed in the powdered form. Funny.
Aljo says they have a blue and purple also. I might try it in the future.
Let us know how it works for you Angel.

Thanks Shawn, That's what I thought it meant. I guess I've never dyed enough fabric for the water to run out of dye. I started on the process....it is going beautifully. I have 5 shades of fluorescent pink so far...they are absolutely beautiful under the blacklight. I have to wait for them to dry to see what they look like. I'm very excited. I been trying to get a few companies to dye it for me, but no takers, so I decided to try it myself. I've been dying it in increasing 5 min. increments. So far the only thing I have noticed it that it seems to need to be stirred very consistently. I have ended up with a few lighter and darker lines through it when I just let it set and only stir occasionally. So much fun....I'll post pictures when I'm finished. I'll see if I can get a good blacklight photo. I will be using it on custom orders.

Have you tried Dye services pro-- I think they dye fabric one piece of clothing most anything.

Notice the note about dying. They do not test dye before and do not guarantee that the color will match. If I was only going for regular pink I might try it, but no one seems willing to try the fluorescent dye even if I supply the dye. I'll keep look...in the mean time this will work for small jobs. Thanks for the link. They do have nice things though.

UPDATE:
I was finally able to dye 1 yd of the antron with the pink fluorescent dye. As with the smaller pieces it looked beautiful under the natural light. Also, it glows beautifully....BUT....under the blacklight it is very blotchy. I'm going to try to build a face using it to see how much of a different there is.

Julie, have you tried contacting David Pannabecker about dying antron? He's on Facebook. I have puppets that he dyed flo colors and they are not blotchy at all.

Thanks Sue, good idea. I didn't realize he had blacklight characters. The pink moonbeam looks very similar to the color I achieved with the dye...at least under the regular like.
ps Did you get my message about the Carmel Antron?

Yes I got your message about the carmel antron, but right now I'm at a standstill. I haven't been able to unpack my workshop as this summer has been crazy and so far the fall isn't much better. Hopefully I will get back with you in a couple of weeks.
Thanks,
Sue
