I'm back! Posted by Na on Nov 15, 2010
I haven't been checking in as often as I used to - by the way!
Things have been pretty chaotic this year, but I wanted to say, I'm back!
The main reason I've been away has been to focus on my website. Earlier this year I decided to split my site in two, with all of the tutorials and puppet info on one site and my shadow puppets on another. This week I finished redesigning my main site (www.puppetsinmelbourne.com.au) with all my shadow puppets on it, and everything can now be found at www.schoolofpuppetry.com.au. (Well, almost. I have to migrate a lot of content still)
Anyway, that's what I've been up to, and it's made me think of doing some freelance web design. I was thinking if anyone here wanted a package design, like what's on offer at Etsy (ie. http://www.etsy.com/listing/57564999/id-love-a-website-five-pages-no-dramas?ref=cat3_list_9) where you get complete control of your site at the end, and you won't need to understand code to use it... well, I'd do a cheap quote. Would anyone here be interested in it?
... In the meantime, I've got some P&S posts to catch up reading... Hope I haven't missed much!

I think everything looks very nice but why shouldn't it you did it....... and everything you do always looks good. I was trying to find the thread you started on advertisement for your site. Could you refresh us on how much for a spot on your from page?

Thank you. I didn't really have a design in mind, and just made it up as I was going along. I'm glad it turned out well! - Although I freaked out the other day when I accidentally deleted all my images. So lucky I realised what I did before anyone could notice.

Hmm, I can't find it either. It's not even listed in the threads in my profile. At any rate, you can find the info for the advertising here:

It's actually very cheap when you think about it: $5 p/month at the most! That's a cup of coffee
