Ran across this site today and it has a very good section on building a marionette,I really enjoyed

Great site Steve. Wouldn't it be great to be able to visit them and take a workshop?! The cost for their workshops are not bad at all and accommodations are also cheap. It is just the plane ticket there that would break me.

I sat here figuring up the cost last night also,i could swing the tuition and all but like you said Shawn,The air fare is the killer..oh well maybe next year lol

Yes, the costs are really high. But belive me: Prague is worth visiting. Not only because of marionettes.

I took this course. It was quite good, especially of you're interested in traditional marionette building styles. I think that there is a picture of the marionette I built there in my gallery. It's a very orange female centaur.
