He is my puppet enabler, who is also a chemist.

Interesting thread...Well, I was a CAD (Computer Aided Design)Draftsman for an industrial fan company for 17 years. I'm working in retail pharmacy now going on 11 years. These are the things that take away too much of my free time that could be spent designing and building puppets. I also like to do freelance cartooning on the side and looking to get into VO work (I think I need to have a chat with Sonny)  LOL

It's very exciting to see the diverse group of careers that share a common interest in puppetry!!

Very interesting thread!  I'm a freelance Scenic Designer/Scenic Designer for the theatre in New York City.  The puppet thing for me is nice because it uses a lot of the skill sets I already have, just on a much smaller scale.  I'm not really all that interested in performing, just building.  It's also helped me hone other skills that I didn't have, i.e. sewing, that are assets in my real profession!  Who knew!
