An update on the situation: after sending an email to the person and politely reminding them of deadlines and other commitments, they replied a week later in order to rearrange for the meeting. (A couple of days ago) Un/fortunately, I had received some paid full-time work on Wednesday and told the person I had to decline. This work is not related to puppetry, and is likely going to be short lived, but I've already done enough hours to more than make up for whatever I would have gained with this commission.
