hi there gang, i just attained a bunch of wooden rod Javanese puppets but need more info on their age, authenticity and character ID.  is there anyone on this forum that can help me out?  let me know.  thanks guys.

But this is probably not sufficient. Maybe somebody else has more information.

I recommend finding some books on them. I have one that covers wayang kulit (the shadow puppets) and it can be quite detailed.

I know this covers shadow puppets, but I'm guessing a lot of wayang kulit applies to wayang golek in terms of stories, characters and so forth.

From your comments, it sounds like you're trying to value the puppets? If you want to do that, you would need to post some pics and more info about them.
