That was great Billy! I love these puppets and it was cool to get the history behind the puppeteers who built them. It would really be great if this came to the states some day but I have a feeling that the cost would be way to much to produce this as a touring show.

My son saw War Horse in London last June and said it was absolutely fantastic! I hope that when it is being shown here in the US I will be able to find a way to see it!!

For those of you near NYC, the show just went into previews a couple weeks ago here at Lincoln Center. I've been trying to get tickets, but so far it's a sold out house. I want to see the show for two reasons. A...the puppets and story look incredible (remember, I'm a set designer by trade) and B...I grew up on a horse farm in Kentucky, so it's in my blood.
When I do finally get a ticket, I'll be sure to post a review on here!

Thanks Billy, you just blew my mind!\
I loved where the rider greeted the horse! And I was actually applauding at home in my living room when it sterted walking around the stage. I couldn't believe the audience weren't clapping! I think they may have been too stunned even though we were told it was coming.
I haven't watched the other links yet but that was FANTASTIC!

Yep watched all those now and this one, bit tired at the moment, perhaps emotional but the galloping scene at the end with the wind machine and the litghting... Lump in the throat and a tear n the eye to imagine it in the theatre. Of course the music is pushing a few buttons as well but hey, fantastic stuff.

Now I know why my 22 year old son said he cried during the performance in London!! Unbelievable! I too have tears in my eyes and a lump in my throat just from the clips!
