This started last year when I found out about Star Wars day being May 4th. It involved weekly sci fi themed live shows and even had a Doctor Who Parody event. This year Sockspuppet and I will be doing it again. The current plans are for me (as Eyegore Hunchback) to start the event on May 4th at 10 pm EST on Blogtv. There will also be a video mini-series hosted on my Youtube account to correspond with the month and to act as transitions between themes. Currently only Sockspuppet and I are doing anything, but if there's any other puppeteer sci fi nerds who want to join in, let me know. The associated shows and videos should probably be "PG" rated, with any curse words being sci fi themed.

As it gets closer to the event, I will post more information here, including when the first video is uploaded.

I have a box of fairly cute Star Wars puppets from an unfinished Star Wars fan film several years ago. I am seeing Sockspuppet tonight and I'll mention it to her, maybe you guys could put them to good use?

I'm starting work on the mini-series videos to go with this event. The first will be posted the first week of May. It's still not too late if anyone is interested in helping out.
The videos I'll be making are going to use a mix of puppets, 3D CGI backgrounds, GIMP created content, etc. This means that if anyone is interested in having a puppet cameo in some way, I can add the puppet in with or without use of a green screen. If anyone is interested, let me know in the next couple of weeks.

Last chance for anyone interested in helping out with the video. Sci fi month starts Wednesday with Star Wars Day and I'm hoping to have the first video of the mini series edited and uploaded either Friday or Saturday.
There will be some scenes taking place in a bus station and on a bus which could easily work in pretty much any puppet. Anyone who helped would be noted in the credits, etc.

Currently Sockspuppet has a Wookiee, 2 Jawas, and a potential Sith Lord on her show.

Hey is anyone else haveing issues with BlogTV in FireFox? Seems that every time I try to view a video the Flash is showing an "error" that says "There are no more recorded shows to display ... Click Here to visit Broadcaster home page."  Clicking seems to lead to a new users account homepage for hopie456. It happens on users home page and on their recorded shows page. It does not seem to happen in other browsers though.

Nope, no problems at all. Just checked the link and am using Firefox and the video is playing no problem.
