I saw a tutorial on dyeing fleece but not stripping color from fleece and re-dyeing. I thought I may have missed something. We shall wait and see how Jay did it. My guess is Rit dye color remover.

Sorry, I'm not sure why I asked. LOL Since I've never tried dying either one of the two colors.  I have redyed other Antrons that where dyed by others.  Didn't have a problem.  The only problem I've encountered was getting a consistent color on a large piece (2-3 yds) of white when I was first dying with the flourescent colors.  Did you wash it first? With cloths soap?  What brand of dye?  Rite suggests adding a small amount of cloths soap with the dye.

Sorry Jay, It is a bummer when you spend time working on a puppet and the only time you can tell if you did something wrong is when its too late.

I have a few video's on my YouTube on dying Antron Fleece as well as foam if since people are talking about it....it may help with the larger piece of material issues that MPGrace is having.

I could be wrong and Dr. Puppet can correct me....like myself....he uses bleach and a washing machine and puts about a cup of bleach at a time to strip the colour out....it won't completely remove the colour but will greatly fade it so you can try again.

Wow bleach to remove the color! Makes sense really. Don't forget though folks that bleach is going to break down the fibers of your fabric, and can even eat it away. I doubt that doing a single pass of color removal would hurt too much but don't go over board with your bleach. In other words don't think that "If a cup well work a gallon well be even better.".

Shawn is very right about that.....I say start with half a cup and you may have to run it through a couple of times....don't try to do it all at once or you will end up with it ruined.
