The easiest way to get human looking hair on a puppet is to use a wig. Are there any wig shops in your area? Sometimes a wig is too large for a puppets head but you can normally size it down by cutting a V section out of the back side. The V would actually be upside down so it is like a dart in fabric. If you look at a wig the back section is normally rows of what is called weft sewn on strips. If it is inside out it is pretty easy to cut the dart in it and then you can hand stitch the rows back together.
In regards to inserting an image, you would use the Gallery Image button below the posting box to insert one from your Gallery here. If you have an image hosted someplace else, there is a small image icon above the posting screen you can use. It inserts what is called bbCode and between the tags you past the URL of the image you want to show up. Here is your Gallery image inserted.

Wow...thanks Shawn. There are indeed wig shops in my area. I think that will work out perfectly.
Thanks for the heads up on inserting photos also. The old guy you posted was my very first puppet! He was loosely based on one of the Muppet hecklers (whom I adore). A friend gave me a piece of recycled fur from a business she has and it became his hair and mustache. Since then all my puppets have worn her fur scraps for everything from hair to eyebrows thus "Fur Real Puppets" was born.
Thanks again for the terrific help...
