Saw the preview when we saw "Pirates" Sunday! Can't wait for it!!!!

I got to see it last night! LOVE IT!!! I admit I was a little worried that they might be "modernized" too much.  But it wasn't like that at all. Kermit's disposition was a little more serious than usual. My daughter commented that usually Kermit just keeps going when things happen but he was a bit melancholy in this one.  But it really didn't detract.  It was so lively and fun. A MUST SEE!

Well, yeah, I'm gonna see it January 12th... (it will come to the German theatres that day). But I admit: I used to like Miss Piggys looks better in the old show than in this trailer.

I saw this last night and I have to admit, I loved it.  It wasn't perfect, but I smiled almost the whole way through.  The highlights for me (I don't think I'm spoiling anything, but be forewarned) was a wall-of-fame with Muppet Show guests, including a pic of Kermit and Jim Henson, and the revival of Rainbow Connection, in which they used the original voice recording as opposed to a new recording.  I may have teared up a little at that point, but I'm also allergic to cat dnader, so maybe the guy beside me had a cat smuggled inside his coat - can't say for sure.

I was a little disappointed in the guest stars - one of the most fun elements of the first three Muppet movies - and the Danny Trejo jail scene was missing. 

It was fun and silly but also smart.  It lacked some of the sharp edge that the old films had though, but made very nice use of self-reference by connecting it to the old films as well as the TV show.   A solid 8/10 for me.

My husband and I saw it and we loved it too. We found it to be fun and delightful!

I loved it! I was glad that pepe was hardly in it because I just can't stand him. The story was great and the new muppet named walter is a perfect fit. As far as the rainbow connection goes I am pretty sure that was Steve Whitmire singing.

I love that Uncle Deadly is an important part of the movie too. He is an under-rated muppet.
