Has anyone tried the spray paint for plastics? From what I can find, you are supposed to be able to spray it on plastic without having to sand. Wondering if it will work on plastic domes, etc., for eyes?

Yeah I think you should be able to use it. I have found though that any paint tends to scrap off of the plastic eyes though. I found the perfect solution for that though... I paint the inside of the dome so it is protected. That may be what you had planned anyway.
I do always do a test though with any paint I have not used before. There have been times I thought something would work by what it stated on the label but it really wasn't what I was looking for or worked how I wanted it to.

I have some of this spray paint, but I haven't used it yet. Let us know if you experiment.

If you're talking about the spray paint that supposed to be for plastic, like outdoor furniture etc I'd say no, it doesn't work like they say. I tried using it on plastic flour pots, chairs a bucket....all flaked off very very easily. What I have found that worked best is to sand the plastic, spray it very lightly with spray glue then start with light layers of spray paint allowing it to thoroughly dry between layers. I haven't try this on eyes, just large plastic items.
