Green monster Posted by Angel in Tx on May 30, 2011
After re-watching the Paul Louis videos, I was inspired to make a monster puppet.

He was so easy!  I made him this morning.  I also made an extra hand that is not attached so that we can use the hand by itself, or work this guy with two hands.

Really nice!  It is also great to see that you got inspired by someone else reminding you of something.

Thanks.  I got a little scissor happy while trimming the mouth. LOL But other than that I like how he turned out.  It also reminded me that I really love the "gingerbread man" method.  Where I just draw something out on large paper, cut it out, sew it up, a few nips, tucks and hot glue and that' it!

Now I too am motivated to give this a try! I watched all the videos and I think I can do it! Thanks for sharing!!

You can do it LJ!  I just drew it out on paper (I used a plate to make the circle for his head) and sewed it up and put in the mouth, a little foam for his head and viola!  It took only a couple of hours.

Thanks! I will post a picture when I get it done! Not sure when that will be because I have 59 shows this summer, but I will put it on my list of this to do in my "spare time"!
