Yes, that's how I discovered them. My hair dresser was using them. The important part I have found is to do small thin sections at a time to control the amount you are removing. It really helps blend in the long with the short.

I think that TwistAndShoutBalloons was referring to the puppet since they directed it at TX... but having a link to get the shears is a good thing.

I have used human electric clippers for shaving faux fur. I does take a bit of time, and control is great.
