Best wishes! Good to hear that you're feeling better.
It is crazy: once one didn't get to P&S for like 3 days one needs a week to catch up- so much is going on here.
Here it is not all that hot, but quite muggy. We do get a lot of thunderstorms this year.

I agree, it seems as though I miss a day and 20 new threads appear here.

Glad the weather is nicer for you. It hasn't been raining much here, but it has been cold!

So glad that you are feeling better - with 97 degree and 90% humidity your cool weather sounds nice. But then it is summer in Iowa. Look forward to seeing more of your work in shadow puppets!

LJ your wheather is far worse than ours! How can you move a limb?

Right there with you LJ. Weather here in Wisconsin is quite hot and humid! Although after a really heavy storm passed through the temperature is down to about 24 degrees Celsius or 75 degrees Fahrenheit.

We are still waiting for a front to go through to give us a break from the heat - I is supposed to come tonight but I am not counting on it! In the mean time I just stay inside the air conditioned house or the air conditioned car!

I guess the house has to be air conditioned if your air conditions are that bad! Best wishes for the front to show up!

Yep, being able to breath without coughing every five seconds is a wonderful thing!

It sounds awfully hot in your part of the world. I'm not a big fan of heat, so I'd rather be cold than warm. Fortunately for me I have a soft blanket here with me (spare fleece from puppets sure comes in handy!) and lots of warm jumpers too.

The shadow puppets may be a long time coming. I've decided to focus on getting as much migration of content over to School of Puppetry as possible, so it's done and out of the way and I can focus on other things. Sadly, it's four years worth of articles and patterns to improve and move so it's taking a long time...

That's right Na, it is winter where you are right now... right?  Seems strange that just an invisible line around the world would make a difference between seasons.
Re: Popping my head back in... Posted by Na on Jul 12, 2011
Yep, winter.

I am currently watching the shuttle footage, and am experiencing varying degrees of confusion as to times, dates, weather and of course, which way is up.

I have decided that the internet has made all such things pretty useless, seeing as how we can have a conversation yesterday (your today, my yesterday) now. :P
