I couldn't agree more! I have gained so much through this forum!!

I mean it every issue I hit I ask and its not just the normal guys who help but the admins and owners of the site too. I may only have been here a week but its like a family thanks guys

Trust me when i say that buying the foam book WILL be one of the BEST things you will do (besides joining puppets and stuff of course!!) you will learn sooooo much about building puppets, i started off building puppets out of foam blocks and carving them when i was younger with varying outcomes, but the day i stumbles across a copy of the foam book, my eyes where opened to a completely new possibily, along with the nip and tuck and the three piece foam head method, which are amazing starting points!! now i have been building puppets professionally for over 10 years using all manner of methods including the ones i learned from the foam book, and you will have to go pretty far to find someone that builds puppets who doesnt have a copy!! you are going to love it and along with the info we all share on this amazing site, you will be making great puppets in no time at all!!
i also suggest checking out some dvds/videos made by verna finley, im sure you can get them pretty cheaply nowerdays, but they too have proved to be invaluable and worth thier weight in gold!!
hope you are having fun and we are a very friendly bunch with over 200 years of conbined knowledge (dont ask me how i worked this out, im a total geek!!)
