well i dont collect comics, but i must admit that i have found inspiration from a few of the fantastic illustrations i have seen in some in the past and i have also been sent pictures from some comics by clients asking me to create something similar to the creature in the picture (if that makes sense) so i dont think tat collecting comics makes you a geek, just intouch with your creative side and available to listen to your artistic license when it talks!!
