I am making a foam puppet But i am having trouble with the hands, the puppet is the same shape of lucy the sl*t. Could someone please post a template for lucy's hands.

It may help if you post a pic of her hands here and then we can give you suggestions...I could not find a pic of her hands quickly on google images..as you may know...we are not big fans of duplicating already copyrighted puppets or supporting it however we can make suggestions on how you can accomplish tasks to your liking.

I have done the head!!! I have a shirly temple wig a little longer though. I am making the arms abd hands after i attach the wig then i will go somewhere like foamex and get some pollyfoam.

Here are a few ways to make hands for your puppet just get about the right shape and length of the hands and then follow this step or the one below the vids are done by myself...they are not gripping or anything but they do get info out their about making professional style puppets...hope it helps....there are many more if you want to check them out....

That's really very good for your first puppet. It doesn't look a lot like Lucy (but then, as Daryl pointed out, we tend to frown on replicas) and I wouldn't have thought of her if I didn't know about your aims already. However, that's really more of a compliment than it sounds, because honestly, she's very personable and looks very well made.
