Yeah, that's what makes his work so amazing. You see in a lot of his photos either his fingers/hand, a match, or a coin - and you can see the true size of the clay items. They really are tiny, and yet he still manages to get very realistic textures and designs.

I really wonder how he makes the bottles, knifes and platters- I guess that would be the hardest part for me, once you had you perfect clays and got used to work miniscale. Food looks even more real with little irregularities, but a coke bottle is something different.

I don't think he makes those, but buys them. Many miniature doll companies sell items like those, so they wouldn't be hard to find. (I assume they are moulded like plastic toys are, and made in a factory)

Okay, that makes sense. They must be collector quality, though. Normal toys wouldn't be that delicate and with so much detail- at least over here.

Miniature doll furniture usually is of excellent quality (although I've never bought any myself really, so maybe that's not a good comment). What I meant was that the plates, knives, etc are likely made by filling a mould with a plastic, much like how latex puppets are made by pouring latex into a mould.

It's a guess anyway from the items I've seen, they have a tiny seam visible from where the two halves of the moulds meet.

You're probably right. I'd like to try moulding myself some time.

I think you can actually buy moulds for them - have a look at supplies on Etsy for miniatures/clays and you might find a few.

Oh, I didn't mean to mould knives and platters or things like that. I'd like to do puppetskins, I got a bit fixed on silicone, since I've seen that done so well here. And  for me the modelling is the fun part of it.

Ah, sorry my misunderstanding. Yes, I'd like to try latex myself, but it's a bit too expensive to buy here just for a test. I do enjoy clay modelling though.

Latex has this UV- rays, acid, solvent, copper and aging problem, as far as I researced. I would really like to try silicone. I did dunk the hands of my new puppet in latex, it does look okay, but it is a bit sticky. I should try talcum.
