Very nice! What is the shoe made of? How did you get the great paisley design on the upper tier?

The shoe is gum paste, similar to fondant, but dries faster and harder. The paisley and lines are cake tattoos, it's a thin edible paper like substance. My first time to make a shoe or use the tattoos. I made her a purse cake last year, all covered in fondant. Working with fondant is a lot like working with clay or play doh. LOL

We took it to her work and they ate it all, plus a bunch of the cupcakes too.
