I've done what Shawn suggests and it works well. Have even used thin foam to glue over the posts if needed.

I do use the puppet half dome eyes but for my kermit they scrape your hands. I bought a box of 100 ping pong balls an now make my own. I cut them in half and cut out a circle out of plastic and glue this into the bottom of the dome, then use this flat edge to glue straight to the fleece.

I like the way those eyes rest on top of the head. Great work looks very familar! and Welcome to Puppets and Stuff.

Dollar tree has some eyes that could be used for puppets. I always look in the Halloween stuff and saw several there yesterday.  Some look like ping pong balls but have eyes painted on. Would work for scarier looks..  the others are in a package of pumpkin decorations.  I bought some n will try to ad a picture.

I went to town today and forgot to go by Dollar Tree!  I wanted to check it out.

Can I add a question to this topic, can anyone point me to a seller that sells eyeballs and match eyelids. So basically 2 half balls but one if slight bigger in diameter for the eyelid to slide over.

Andy I'm not sure what size your looking for. There are vent eyes available at Braylu but you could just vacuum form them yourself

Ahh I see. This is a new field for me but I am willing to try. So I assume you mean I find the correct ball and then make the eyelid with this method ? I'll look into it, thanks for the advice.
