I added a picture of a pair of blue iris eyes to you album as a test. See if it will let you add a photo from your my pictures on your computer. It uploaded fine for me. I can delete the blue iris after this test.

Hi Billy,
I have seen your photo in my album, great I thought.
I copied one of your photos to my computer, then have tried to bring in that photo but for me it still is not working, have no idea as to why.
Ny photo details are in the browse but when I click add photos it delites the info and nothing is loaded, it has got to be something I am doing but don't know what...
Thanks for your help thou.

I've just never heard of anyone having this problem. Do you have a Mac or PC? What browser are you using? It might help to download a different browser like FireFox or Chrome and use it instead.
I'll try and do some research over at the site for the program we use and see if something like this has ever come up for someone else. More then likely it is something really simple we are missing.

Hi Shawn,
I use a PC my operating system is windows vista, and unfortunatley for me this is the first time I have had trouble uploading photos. Its nothing to do with because I am UK based?
Thanks for all your help.

No being in the UK shouldn't make a difference. We have other members from the UK and I am pretty sure they upload photos.
I bet it is something simple that one of us is missing. I hope you don't take this in the wrong way, but is there someone locally you could have come over and look at what you are doing. I bet if I was there I would be able to tell what is going on by watching what you are doing but that is kind of hard from here in the US. Ok we could connect up and have you share your screens with me via the internet but that in it self can be a hassle sometimes.
Oh you didn't mention what browser you are using. Is it maybe I.E. (Internet Explorer). There are so many add-ons to browsers today and many interfere with so many things. I use FireFox http://www.mozilla.org/ and I know many other users here also do.

Hi Shawn,
My Husband and Son are the techno guro in my household. I am using Internet Explore and have had no trouble upto now.
I have had both my Hubby and Son have a go at up loading for me and they are just as puzzled.
I will keep trying and see how it goes,
Thanks Kim.

Kim,
I just don't get it either. I did some searching and found some stuff on folks not being able to upload with Vista but as a rule it was with all sites not just with one site. Some folks had issues with their security software interfering with uploads but again I think that was not just with one site.
The fact that it seems to be just here would make me think that maybe in either your I.E. setting or maybe even in your security software (if you have one installed) that puppetsandstuff.com needs to be added as a safe site.
I'll keep looking and if I come up with anything I'll let you know. In the mean time if you use upload images on other sites like Flicker you can embed them in a post by using the icon. It will put the img tags in your post and then you simply insert the URL to the image between them.

Try using Google Chrome or Firefox perhaps. If it works, you'll know it was probably your IE settings as Shawn suggested.
