Hey everyone!  A few weeks ago I posted some pictures of the model for my latest scenic design in production..."Uncle Pirate."  Well, that show opened in NYC last weekend, so I thought I'd follow up with pictures of the actual finished product.  Yes, there were some changes made during production, but on the whole it turned out exactly as planned.  As a designer, that's always a relief!

It turned out great! Congratulations! I guess the replacement of a current for a drop in the preshow was a financial consideration. I think I like the original design more but it still works.

Slightly related question: I am working on a design for a market stall set up for my puppets, but need some help working out the details. I'd really love a set designer to work with. Is that something that you'd do/be interested in? I don't need a builder (obviously, we're in different countries anyway), just someone to help me gather my ideas into a plan, make sure I've got all my requirements solved, and come up with an overall design to help with atmosphere and encourage play (puppets are easier to sell if people can play with them).
