trick marionette Posted by andycomic on Oct 02, 2011
I came across this awesome vid: , it really blew me away as to how much juggling he got the puppet to do. Just though I'd share.

Does anyone know who this is?

That is pretty cool. I've seen ball juggling marionettes and in fact have made them but it was not "real" juggling. Never seen this before where the puppet is actually really doing it.

Hmmm, the lady said: "Schämst du dich nicht". That being German and the juggler being a clown- could it be Roser with Gustav?

It looks like Martin and Heather Granger. I found this discussion about him over at Puppet Hub. There is actually a longer video with his stuff on YouTube.

There is also a second posting about him at Puppet Hub here. So far this is the only two clips I've been able to find on them.

I did find another bit of information on the at the Space Patrol site.  Space Patrol was a filmed puppet show.

Disappointed that the original youtube vid I refereed to in this topic has been removed by user. I have not come across this vid again. If anyone finds it please re-post link.

Thanks,
Andy

I like seeing puppets push the limits. At some point would like to get my hands on a marionette or build one.  Does a hoola hooping daffy sock puppet count

This is probably one of my fav trick marionette performances:

Ahhh, thanks for trying to cheer me up but nothing compared to the original vid. I wish I had copied it. I searched far and wide on the web and the best i could get was the original name of the vid : "talented marionet" but I cant find any copied anywhere. So this other Grangers vid seems to be the only copy of their work on the net.
