Holiday Projects Posted by Billy D. Fuller on Oct 24, 2011
I thought I would start a thread on "Holiday Projects". With upcoming holidays on the horizon I thought it would be interesting to hear about projects folks will be working on in the few months!

No holiday puppet projects, but a few holiday-themed shows.  I'm designing a 10 acre Christmas exhibit for a garden in North Carolina and working on "Angelina Ballerina: The (Holiday) Musical"...yep, Christmas in all pink for that one!

I'm thinking about building an elf puppet to put up for sale. Started doing some sketches but haven't landed on one that I really like yet. But I best get going soon if the little guy is going to be done in time for the holiday that Rikka needs reminding about!
Silly Rikka.

I would like to hear about the North Carolina show.............. being from S.C. it might be something my family would like see. Besides I would like to see your work if possible.

Well thank you, Billy!  The exhibit I was talking about is in the Outer Banks on Roanoke Island.  The Elizabethan Gardens is a gorgeous, formal garden modeled after the sculped English gardens of the 16th century.  I'm designing their Christmas exhibit, called "Winter Lights."  It's thousands of lights and lots of vignettes with an Elizabethan twist.  You can check them out at www.elizabethangardens.org.

Such a fun project!

You're early planning Christmas! Or did you mean Thanksgiving? I totally forgot about Thanksgiving and Rememberance Day... well, we had the Oct. 3rd- last one before Christmas.
