My first puppet, and his first video Posted by Th3StuffShow on Nov 22, 2011
Hi everyone, I'm new to this site and I have to say I'm happy to have found it before attempting my second home made puppet.

I'm still happy how my first puppet turned out, but now I know my second puppet will be 10 times better with tips I'll find here.

Anyways, here's a video I made using Antoine, my first puppet. Hope you all like it.

Pretty cute! Nice little bit. I think the funniest things are those we can all relate to. I am pretty sure that just about everyone here has been in this situation.

few things I noticed. Maybe you could have the puppet look at the place the roll of toilet paper should be when he reaches it. The other thing I noticed is that the top of the puppet's head seems to be doing most of the movement while speaking when it should be primarily the bottom jaw that is moving.

i guess you were sitting inside the toilet to operate the puppet. A true artist !

I hadn't really noticed until you said so, but yah he does talk with the top portion of his head... after messing around I realized it was a flaw in my home made design that makes it impossible for his jaw to do the talking. It's to small and to much a part of the body... anyways thanks for the feedback.  This is why I'm glad to be a member of this society now, I'm hoping the next puppet i make will be better in every way possible.
