Hope the film is coming along well!

That is pretty wild! Gotta love zombies! So any time frame on completion yet are would you rather not say?  I do realize a labor of love like this can take a long time.

Thanks! The film will be finished this year...possibly a little bit later than I intended because I'm trying to squeeze in a little last minute filming in the fall so I have to wait and see if that is possible.

The film probably won't be publicly released until early next year, but that really depends on what film festivals it is accepted in to. I am planning to make a rough cut of the film available to watch online to people who supported the IndieGoGo campaign at the end of the summer, and they will also be able to download or watch the finished film before anyone else when the final cut is done.

This is a long overdue update on the project that I posted to my blog on Monday (I meant to share it here earlier, but have been sidelined a bit due to a bad back).

PuppetVision: The Movie - A Long Overdue Update

It's been very hectic doing this project while working almost full-time, so I've struggled a bit to document and share as much as the process as I would have liked. Thankfully, I'm now working with a producer/co-writer and have been getting a lot more help with various aspects of the film and we spent the summer getting ourselves reorganized. There will be regular, more-or-less weekly updates going forward from now on!

Unfortunately, because of some funding and scheduling issues the film will not be complete this year as I had originally intended. Instead, it will be finished mid-2014 and begin showing on the film and puppet festival circuit next Fall As I mentioned in the update on the blog, I will hit that deadline because a few puppet festivals want to screen it next year and I'm making plans to be doing some other things in 2015!
