Na there is a sweet version of a breakfast pizza that I do. You can buy puff pastry already made. Place on a pan round or oblong pressing the dough a bit and bake by package directions until golden brown........... top with fresh fruit and then drizzle a sugar glaze on top(1/2 cup of powdered sugar dissolved with a teaspoon or so of milk)

Mmmm... yum! Although I think you Americans just come up with odd names for things. To me that just sounds like waffles with fruit (ok, croissant with fruit)  

Na, I would love to have your recipe for latkes. I have not found one I like and when I do find the box mix I use that.
We do make some of the traditional Dutch foods at Christmas like poffertjes and pfeffernuts (I know I spelled that wrong I will need Gompie's assistence on that one)

I would love to give it, but I don't know it. Going through my mum's recipe box I find nothing, so it's likely she either used one from a book, or one handed down and memorised it. I'm betting though any decent Jewish cookbook will have one.

Pfeffernuts are about the only ginger thing I like. It's gingerbread with powdered sugar!

Well, I tried to post and it disappeared. Weird.  Anyway I'm not baking but I am sewing! Here's what my daughter and I worked on yesterday.  They are so much fun!!!
