Sweet. There is a horror movie called "Jack Frost" and a Disney movie by the same name. Some guy wanted the later for his son (6 years) and his brother didn't get which one of the films. I heard the young boy developed a fear for snowmen ever after... Hope this will not happen...

Thanks. I've not read the Zombie Survival Guide. Probably should I guess.
As for Jack Frost movies - I've seen both of them. The horror one is as good as it sounds. The other one, starring Michael Keaton is actually a very sweet movie, though the Keaton/Snowman is kinda creepy. The music in it is great! Very cool bluesy/rock Christmas tunes. I wish there was a soundtrack.

I really think you are the only person in the world who's deliberatly seen both films- and who thinks that the horror movie is good but the Disney snowman "kinda creepy"- I am going to kill my husband for laughing with that comment. I only know the story above(told me by the guy who got the movie for his brother's son).

What I mean was that the horror Jack Frost was as good as it sounds - which is not good at all. By no means is it a quality film.
You wanna see a bad horror movie - look for Uncle Sam. That's right, the national symbol for unity and patriotism is a homicidal maniac. I don't know what's more insulting - the fact that someone took such an iconic symbol and turned it into a horror maniac, or anyone made the film in the first place.
I'll stick to George Romero and Roger Corman, I think. Maybe a little Toxic Avenger to pick me up out of a funk.

I just got the info: "Uncle Sam" did not reach the class of "maniac" (of course we have less patriotic issues with Uncle Sam... it never reached us as iconic). I know my home horror man enjoys Toxy and Romero. But this is about my limit in horror. I did watch the zombie movies, but that is not my kind of thrill. I liked stuff like lord of illusions or warlock. I guess I am a mystic...
